My Current Favs:

A Pop of Print

I. AM. OVER. THE. COLD. I need spring and summer now.

So, I have taken inspo from one of my fav bloggers @VivianeAudi, to put together a look that is totally suitable for spring. The outfit of hers that inspired me is this photo here. Viviane is my go-to girl for simple and classic everyday outfits. For example, the way she can style a simple black top with a camel coat and snakeskin shoes, makes the outfit look so put together. She’s always creating a casual-chic look (when in reality, it probably took a few minutes to think about). I definitely recommend checking out her page for some everyday outfit inspiration.

Outfit Details

Although the color palette in this outfit doesn’t scream spring, the jacket is light enough to wear on a warmer day. But on a cooler day, the sweater-like crop top underneath will keep you warm.

I’ve been searching for the perfect pair of greyish-blackish jeans – not deep, dark black and not light grey, something in between. AND I THINK I FOUND THEM! These jeans are from Levis which I got off of Revolve. The style of these Levis are called the wedgie fit and I’m obsessed with them. I recommend sizing down if you end up purchasing these jeans because they do stretch a bit after wearing them a bunch. To solve that problem, I just toss them in the dryer and they shrink back down to their original size.

The “pop of print” in this outfit is this cropped cheetah jacket that I received from Missy Empire (thank you girls). It is similar to the one Viviane wore in her look, but the colors are different. This jacket is a little bit lighter than I had expected, but thats okay because that means it can make for a nice summer jacket too. I paired the look with this black sweater-like crop top. I say “sweater-like” because it sort of has this sweater material, but it’s thin, so you could wear it year round – definitely has become a go-to item in my closet. For shoes, I’m wearing my Doc Marten’s lookalikes from Missy Empire (I am saving up for actual Doc’s because these aren’t too comfortable, but they get the job done).

I hope you like my take on Viviane’s outfit and thank you Viviane for the inspo! Make sure to check out Viviane’s page and give her a follow!

xo, Maggie
